Easter 2010

We a pretty low-key Easter weekend. Caroline was sick-- started running a fever during the night on the Friday before and continued through the day Sunday-- so we didn't get out much. We weren't able to go to the egg hunt at the Country Club, which we had planned on, so we had our own egg hunt in our front yard. The Easter Bunny even left M&M's in the eggs. It was a perfect spring day!

YAY! It's Spring!

We are all so happy that it's finally warming up outside. Caroline is so happy that she has been dancing with her Spring trio (bunny, frog and chicks) and singing along to "Lets Go to the Hop". Catherine is crawling all over the house now and has been pulling up in her crib for about a month and on the furniture for 2 weeks or so. The dynamic between Caroline and Catherine has changed a little with Catherine now able to get to whatever she wants. Up until now, Caroline has had her run of the toys and house, but now Catherine is eager to join in on the play and games, which is not always to Caroline's liking. Now, Catherine can even put up a fight and try to hold onto toys when Caroline tries to steal them away. So, we are working on taking turns (sharing) and trying to all play together.

Caroline's First Ponytail

Caroline's hair is getting so long. Long enough to put it up in a ponytail. She was willing to let me put it up, but it didn't stay in very long. I have asked her a few times since then if she wants a ponytail again, and the answer has been no. I think it must feel strange to her to have a rubber band in her hair. Maybe she will eventually let me do it again becasue it's really cute!
