The Farm
We had an unseasonably warm weekend at the end of January, so we spent some time at the farm. The girls are really enjoying it, especially riding around on the Ranger and feeding and watching the goats. We have three goats that we named Peanut, Billy and Skunky. Caroline keeps their bellies full of hay, and Catherine likes to imitate the sound they make.
More Snow!!!!!
We got 6-7 inches of snow back in early January. Pop just happened to be passing through town on his way back to Florida and got stranded at the shuttle. Chris went and rescued him, and he spent part of the first day of snow with us. Caroline had a blast in the snow. She stayed outside for 3 hours straight, sledding, playing and building a snowman with Pop. When she finally came inside, she started crying becasue she realized how cold she was. Catherine enjoyed the snow a little less-- she had a hard time keeping her boots and gloves on and ended up getting cold very quickly. In the end, we were stuck at home for 3 days because the roads were icy. It was really fun for the girls to get to see this much of the white stuff. It doesn't happen that often around here.
