Beach Club pool
We went to Destin for two weeks back in the middle of May. The girls had a blast at the pool. Caroline is learning to swim without her "swimmies" and Catherine took right to the water wearing her tube float. The Gulf and the Bay were both too cold for much swimming, although Caroline did go on her first very short Sea Doo ride in the Bay with Chris. Catherine tested out the Bay too, but quickly decided she was ready to go in and take a bath. The girls enjoyed playing in the sand on the beach, especially when I would dig a hole for them to play in. The ocean did warm up enough toward the end of the trip to play in the surf. On our last day, we had fun picking up small spiral shaped shells and the girls really got a kick out of the little clam-like creatures inside them.
